The Setup… Sunday 08-18-2013

We had another great Sunday this week.  We are in part two of our four-part series on the importance of serving.  I also wanna say, before we get into the set, I was blessed to be joined by some special guest band members this week who helped make the morning a huge success.  Read on for the set…

Here is this week’s experience:

Since our message involved global missions, we started off with a fun tune about taking the gospel to the ends of the earth called Alive and Running.  After our Faith Story video, we wanted to reinforce that God is always there and we have nothing to fear, even when stepping out on faith.  So we did Tomlin’s Whom Shall I Fear (God of Angel Armies) right into Jesus, Only Jesus.

We like to tag the message with a special song on occasion and I happened upon this song by Lifepoint Worship called Send Me that just fit the moment perfectly.  After our response time, we reinforced that notion that God is with us no matter where we go with Never Once by Matt Redman.

I am always excited when we are able to keep everything focused on the theme of the day and I think we were able to do that pretty effectively this week.

Keep checking back for more Experience Setlists.
